Crime and violence prevention training course

The Department of Public Management at the Polytechnic of Namibia in partnership with the Centre for Justice and Crime Prevention (CJCP) in South Africa, is hosting a crime and violence prevention training course for officials in the public, private and civil society sectors working on crime and violence related initiatives. The Department of Public Management regards your esteemed organisation as a key player in related issues of crime and violence prevention in light of your ongoing initiatives and projects. In this regard, you are kindly requested to nominate a participant who would attend the crime and violence prevention training course in Windhoek.

Furthermore, we would like to encourage the participation of local authorities in the training as part of achieving the objective of promoting integrated approaches to crime and violence prevention. So far we have only attracted two local authorities, namely Swakopmund muncipality and Rehoboth Town Authority. As a result of not having received positive responses from the local authorities, amongst other reasons, we decided to postpone the training in an effort to attract participants from the local authorities. I trust that I will receive your positive response as we look forward to engaging the local authorities on issues of crime and violence prevention.
